No doubt. No doubt.

Well. I can dream can't I?

No, no, I was pondering this over some Nigri and Miso washed down with a few Tiger beers last night. I think the Japanese will always miss the mark in the "cruiser" catagory. The beauty of Harley Davidson has always been their simplicity, even though the newer ones are as advanced as anything else in their catagory they appear simple. The Japanese approach works with Sportbikes because everyone expects gee-whizz technology and .007 oz. weight savings in camshaft covers. With cruisers the whole approach is different. Nothing can just be what it is, it has to be water cooled but with fake plastic fins to appear air-cooled. It can have a steel frame, but it must have fake plastic spars that look aluminum.

Now for some people, the end result is all that matters and as long as they have a bike that looks the part they're happy. HD's appeal is that they are the real deal, they'er not trying to imitate or copy anyone. They crank out they're own designs or take cues from Harley derived custom builders and go with it. For some people that's all that matters, I do think the price for used bikes will approch more realistic levels as demand slows down but I wouldn't count on Harley going tits up anytime soon.

Never said it did. I would never base my decision to buy a particular stock on something the media says.

Don't buy stock, based on this article.

I don't care.

Dude don't bother. If you said the sky was blue, he'd say it was green. Think KPaul with a different moniker.
