I think you are mistaken. Harley is the most evil corporation on the face of the Earth. They stole designs from the French and have mounted a massive disinformation campaign that fills our nation with inferior motorcycles. They practically twist the arms of the good people of our nation to buy their bikes. I hope it all comes to an end soon, so we can be rid of this madness!

A clunker to rebuild top to bottom is the sort of project bike I could dig my teeth into. But $5K for a worn out clunker is just way too much. I welcome the downturn.

![]() This article didn’t offer any reasons to buy HD stock. Average age of buyers go up 8 years in past ten years? And this after introducing V-Rod? You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to understand the trend is disasterous. And this is only one side of the coin. On the supply side, if you factor in the average age of the people who give up biking – or indeed living - due to old age, the current little dripple effect on the 2nd hand market is going to open up to a big stream in the coming years.
What is even more worrisome is that this slump in US sales is not matched with exports. As we have boom in Europe and Asia, plus HD has 40% cost advantage in Europe compared to seven years ago due to weak dollar, there are no excuses. - cruiz-euro |
