Many of the Buell bikes were named after fighter aircraft of WWII.

I am not sure what using an Austrian engine will do to that naming "scheme", though.

Oh, and if it is to be a weather name then I am a fan of Mammatus clouds.

Something about them. Can't quite put a finger on it, but I just like the way Mammatocumulus rolls off the tongue.

How about the "Gooneybird" then? (C117/DC3).

Thumbs up

WWII fighter/bomber names are great too. Spitfire, Hellcat, Mustang, Avenger, etc.

In that case, "Taifun."

i think we've missed the obvious naming choice:

the buell blitzkrieg.

tell me that's not catchy (and slightly easier to say than the buell iwasjustfollowingorders).

bis später.

It's liquid-cooled, so I'd avoid "Tsunami", "Cloudburst", or "Monsoon."
