It's a top secret transmission that allows for faster shifts- but don't imply that HRC would cheat. Nevermind how low Stoner's lap times have gotten in testing. There's no relationship between the parts and times............. Sure!

I read an article that they admitted using a new style clutch but it wasn't the dual clutch set up...

They should change the design to a direct injected two stroke that gets 1/2 the emissions and twice the power of a comparable four stroke. But since the big 4 Japanses factories have thier heads firmly impacted in thier asses it will never happen. When China of KTM fields a race bike with the new DI technology that is when everything gets thrown out the window. Can you imagine driving a car for 200,000 miles and never having to adjust the valves, get a new cam belt, and have pistons and other recip parts last for ever? Neither does the OEM's....
