Interesting that Lutz is adding his considerable weight to this project. He's a smart guy, so there's probably an upside to this company we don't yet know.

Kev- My grandfather knew Lutz. THe man attended my grandparents 45th anniv at the Silverdome. No, not on the field. But the suite was cool. Outside of Lee Iacocca (who was at the same party-btw) he may be the most fwd thinking "old timer" in the business.
I believe that this venture will turn out well. Let's hope the UAW isn't involved in the production. That will only raise the cost to the consumer.

This article is being updated: Current Motors is getting $1.5 million in financing with Bob Lutz being one of the initial investors. His exact investment was not disclosed.
