I think my old shop sold a total of maybe, maybe 5 09GSXR1000's. And that was almost halfway through 2010.

If the Suzuki dealerships were smart, they would ALL band together and refuse to import the new models... ANY of them. That would show Suzuki what's what. The dealerships survived this year without new models, they could probably survive one more year.

Hell I wished they'd just all come together on their prices and agree not to go below a specific price. Only way to sell em these days is to ***** them out for nothing.

The problem with bikes dealerships is they decided they wanted to run like car dealerships. I remember the early days when the shops sold the bike for the list price. From time to time they'd have year-end clearance deals and such, but that was rare.

Now they've got commission sales people, they play games with the price and trade-in values, all the crap that makes car buying the most annoying and humiliating process in US commerce.

Why is the ABS 640 VStrom listed as a new model? It's been around for years. For that matter, why do they offer ABS on the Wee, which is the off-road variant of the Stroms, and not on the Vee, which could certainly use it too?
