President Barack Obama is expected to sign a bill that would make it easier for enthusiasts to ride on the Chappie-Shasta OHV area in northern California

Reducing paperwork in an already OHV aspproved area will be a real boon to OHV people across the nation. /s

Meanwhile the covert moves to close millions more acres with phony "wilderness study area" designations continues apace.

Dems are in control of the Leg, a Rino for Gove and a 2/3's budget rule that keeps everything screwed up.

God help you if they ever go back to a 50%+ budget rule.

Do you believe that Prop13 was a disaster too?

I own a home so I like that aspect of Prop 13. If I was in say NY I couldnt afford my home. When our home artificially doubled in price we wouldnt of been able to afford the prop taxes without it. But the Corp side of being locked for however long the corp stays I dont agree 100% with. People die, corporations can outlive people, generations of people...

The 2/3's budget is nearly an impossibility as you see year after year after year here in CA. Were losing 54mil a day now that we don't have a budget and our reps went on a month long Vaca. Though our prop system is even more of a mess. We can vote in anything without a means to pay for it. Weeeeeeeeeee

We've got one of those "grass roots no taxes" idiots here too, thank god enough sensible people vote down his "peoples initiatives" or we'd be as f*cked as Ca. is.

I actually like the fact that we have police fire and emt's a phone call away and decent roads to ride on. I'm quite happy to throw in a few bucks to pay for them. I personally never bought into the cabin in the woods thing, I'm quite happy to be surrounded by like minded law-abiding people in the outskirts where I live. They don't bother me much and hopefully I don't bother them....

And the 2/3's requirement allows more pork as you have to buy votes to get anything done.
