Interesting toy, but I still believe we're looking at a technological dead-end with Hybrids. I also thought the mileage would have been closer to 200mpg with all the techno-gewgaws Piaggio has thrown at it.
Though I think it's a dead-end, I also believe it's important that manufacturers produce these type of vehicles. Without thinking and development, we'll more-slowly advance "standard" technology. Don't get me wrong about the MP3, either - I love the thing. Wish I could afford one of the conventional-driven ones.
