Big ups to Elena Meyers! You go, girl!
However, I can hear the naysayers now... "Well she only won because of a technicality" or something like that.

She only won because of a technicality.
Having said that: winning because you're at the front when a red flag ends the race is completely legit in my book.

Yeah, great advice that was. I got arrested in the hedge by her window, and now I have a court order that says I can't go within 1000 feet of her or her family.
Thanks a lot, Kirk.

She was in the lead in race two for a few laps early on, settled in third on the last lap and 4th place pulled a Rossi and punted her into the weeds in the chicane at turn 9. She got back on the track and finished 5th.
After the first red flag the dude that was dominating race one got a bad start and she ended up in the lead when the second flag dropped. Race two the same dude pulled out a 4 sec or so lead to win. Still she had the speed running up front. For 16 she's got a lot of potential. Last edited by 12er : 05-19-2010 at 09:47 AM. |
