"Eslick will race at Road America under the theme of “In Memory of Bruce Rossmeyer”, honoring the late dealership owner."

After the race, Eslick will ride the XR-1200 into a wall of hay bales, configured to look like a dualie pickup truck pulling a large bike trailer.

"We're all still coming to grips with the loss of Bruce," Eslick said. "We feel re-creating his moment of impact will bring closure to the race team and Bruce's family."

Damn Ken, Bruce is in the heavens looking down smiling at the XR idea and you bum him out before the bike hits the track. He's sitting there with St Pete smoking Cubans and sipping scotch then he sees your post and thinks "Damn, if I were alive I might have to fire Ken. Oh wait, he doesn't even work there anymore. Suppose I'll haunt him with leaking harley dreams and ghostly images of me with chains and such. Think that will work, Pete?"

Kirk, I knew Bruce Rossmeyer. I served with Bruce Rossmeyer. And you, Sir, are actually a lot like Bruce Rossmeyer.

Seriously, he was a motivated entreprenuer; he made himself and a lot of other people money with car and bike dealerships. He drank a LOT; I think if he hadn't offed himself on a bike, it woulda been death by alcohol in a few years. Or heart failure; the guy was 300 lbs easy.

Ride Bruce Rossmeyer, Ride like the Breaking Wind!
