Default Motorcycle Shipping

I'm looking for a boat or train service from San Francisco to Seattle. I ride a Harley Sportster 883 and have a girlfriend on the back. I don't want to do 700+ miles of that. Ideally, I'd like to find a boat that I could put my bike on while my girlfriend and I had a bottle of whiskey and and sailed off into the Pacific for a night until we get to Seattle, then drive it off the boat and hang around Seattle for a few days... or a train would do... Any ideas?

Seriously? It's only 700 miles - half the Destination is The Journey, man.

Hell, just take a Plane, then rent a cab when you get there.

Driving thats roughly a 12 hour day, been there done that. Eagleriders has two shops in Seattle, your 883 goes for $94 a day to rent. If you dont want to ride, I'd recommend renting when you get up there. Should be cheaper than shipping.

Aw lighten up. Much as I like Sportsters I prefer them as urban weapons. Long distance 2 up? Eh, not so good.

I don't think my marriage would withstand my wife on a postage stamp of a seat for 700 miles no matter how many days you take to cover em. But then again that's why I have a BMW with a custom seat and a backrest for her.
