That's a pretty cool helmet for the money. Reviews seem pretty decent, too.

Actually, that's pretty neat. I've seen Vega helmets around, one guy was comparing their flip-face to Nolan's.

They had Vega helmets at the BRC course I took years ago, probably because they were cheap (inexpensive). I bought one because it fit well. It's also a lot quieter than my other helmet, which is an older model Shoei. So I will most likely get one of these V-tunes this summer. My gf has an Arai, and she likes it a lot, so we'll have to get her a bluetooth device so we can talk to each other while we ride. But from what I see on the web, it'll probably cost as much as the V-Tune. Nifty devices, though.

There is a blu toof option for my autocom. Your still wired to the helmet though and cheap is not in the vocabulary. But I do love my autocom.

Yup, that's the great thing about Blootoof. It's a standard transmission protocol, and any device that claims to be Blootoof compatible should interoperate with any other Blootoof device.

Of course, the question becomes, who the hell wants music, intercoms, and cellphones going when they're riding? Personally, I stuff in earplugs while on the bike.

Speaking of which, I was riding along some surface streets with a GSXR 750 today at lunch. At every stoplight, the guy would frantically grab his PDA from his pocket and text away. Light change, PDA back in pocket...etc. through about 4 lights. Maybe someone can do a Heads Up Display for text, and voice recognition for responses...
