It makes me wonder why they phase out the tax break for upper incomes.

If you're trying to stimulate purchases, shouldn't you stimulate the people who have the most money to spend?

Offering a guy who's upside-down in his house a tax cut ain't gonna stimulate much as we've seen.

I never qualify for any of those incentives, don't matter because I'm not in the market for a new car or bike right now anyway. I thought it was funny how they handed out the last round of "stimulus" checks then turned around and taxed them as income.
