Rat On......
Why not "42"? After all, that IS The Answer.

You're right Star. The MoCo gets all its styling cues from the Japanese.

Can't wait for the Harley Rune!

The Rune looked ridiculous and the price was worse.

Black is the standard, the color, 2 available (tank only it seems) is $250.00 more.

Im not sure if that link is gonna work but I found a kawi mean streak 1600, I thought they made a smaller bike that wasnt 2 tone, or as big but paint may have been an option or likely also available in the 800 series Vulcan. The price price for the 1600 probably was near 10K though.

Google Image Result for http://mybikeshop.files.wordpress.com/2007/12/vulcan1600meanstreak_01.jpg

Apples & oranges. That Mean Streak is hideous AND waaay more capable. Do I still have to call Racetech for a set of emulators as soon as I roll my Sporty off the showroom floor?

(Yeah, I'm still bitter about Buell.)

Harley engineering at its finest.....bit of paint, shocks that don't work, dog slow motor and a fat front tire.....something to make all Americans proud. Honda et al, send your engineers home and hire a painter in a beret!
