I do follow NASCAR and have for 15 years or so and its more about money then winning. Dale Jr has had more opportunity then any driver out there and produced less and less in recent years. With the support of Hendricks Motorsports I'd think Danica would have had a better 2 seasons then Dale Jr did. I like the idea of more diversity in the sport, what attracted me to it to begin with was the young drivers success. It's far from a perfect sport, no dobut but I enjoy it for the most part.

Still think she's "getting" special treatment?
Shows me progress, she is consistantly improving, what more could anyone want?

If it's good enough for Kyle Busch, shouldn't it be good enough for you?

Tony Eury Jr. is back in the limelight tutoring Danica Patrick - ESPN

Pretty good interview, actually.

If she does good and finishes top 20 or top 15 in points some will say she diddnt do good enough, if she wins the title in her rookie season, some will say if any driver had her funding & support they could've done it too. Kinda like when Barry Switzer took the Cowboys that he inherited a winning team and all he had to do was let them play. It's obsurd, at these levels of competition you have to constantly improve and make split second decisions in order to succeed at all, and have to be near perfect to be completely victorious.

Tutoring ain't driving. She is a loser right where she is, and switching car types isn't going to change that. NASCAR wants her for the same reason CART does: she's a novelty and nothing more. If she had a set of nuts, you would never hear anything about her(him). That is all.

So let me see if I get this: if she does well and wins, she's a novelty. If she loses, then she is expected to, because she isn't a man? Damn, I thought Neanderthal man had disappeared. Apparently not--he just went racing.....

Before you answer, consider this: I get the same **** because I build my own bikes. I don't like it, although I know where it comes from: some guys fear females who can do what they can do, and do it well. It speaks well of the women involved, and also says something about the security of the guys involved, too....

I'm just sayin', that's all....
