Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. With the custom shorty windscreen, color-matched Givi bags, and me riding it, the Vee is actually damned good looking!

I'm riding to the Keys this weekend, I'll take some flattering photos and post them...you'll come around.

"Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder."

Well, all the beholders I spoke with, and include me in that beholder group, think it's ugly. If you think it's damned good looking that's all that counts.

I like the Vstroms, I've ridden them before and was impressed. Anyway as Ken said beauty is in the eye of the beerholder. The only reason I didn't ride it home that day is that despite my easy going nature I have a pretty short fuse, after 15 minutes of being pointedly ignored it was either go bean the little SOB or walk out.

Gotta side with Ken on this one. I don't think the Strom to be a pretty bike I also don't think it's particularly ugly. It certainly is a very functional bike and a hoot to ride. The Multistrada is the bike that spent the weekend getting beat with the ugly stick.

I can think of at least 40 bikes that are just as functional, just as much fun, and aren't half as ugly.

I would be happy if I could afford a new bike this year, even with the issues Buzz has ran into.

Why don't they just put up a sign?

"For help, ring bell."

It would save a lot of this posturing and pea****ing.

Why stop there, just bar code the bike and set up a self check out. For all the good the average salesman does why bother even having them? realistically it takes a few seconds to run a credit score off your SSN, if you're approved it prints up a purchase order and payment plan, you sign on the dotted line, stick your copy in your pocket and ride home on your new bike.
