Victory needs to partner with somebody. They sure aren't selling many motorcycles.

That's because they suck.

Not that Ive ever ridden one but my opinion of Victory was that they could say "hey we're an american manufacturer too just like Harely Davidson" and that would somehow entitle them to a good piece of the market. Too bad it isnt that easy and I dont think anything is american made anymore if it is its only final assembly with imported parts. Honda and Kawasiki claim to be american made too, but I dobut thats helped their bottom line. Some buy an image, some buy for quality, efficiency, appearance, some buy because they want to be the first to have something, there isnt a simple marketing campaign that will appeal to all, and those tree tunk heads on the Victory I dont think is helping them either. Just my opinion

I got my father's 04 Kingpin when he passed away and have found it to be reliable and a fun bike to ride. My main ride is an 04 Roadglide so it's nice to have something a little smaller, faster and better handling to ride when the mood hits. If I was going to get a new bike I would stay with HD but Victorys are decent bikes just the same.

I think they're pretty decent bikes, I just don't want to be left holding the bag if they go tits up, Harley's will still have support for the next 50 years if they folded tomorrow.
