Old 750 gixxers still make great bikes for hooligan conversions.

Did you hear they're making an Evil Dead 4?

I'll like that just sink in for a second.

Have you SEEN Bruce Campbell lately? If he gets any fatter, he's gonna "pop" like a tick on a houn' dawg............

The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) sez E.D. IV is "in development". Which could mean any damn thing.

I don't know if it's a nostalgia-of-youth thing, but I was in college from '84-'88, and the Eighties just seemed like it was the awesomest motorcycle decade. I don't know how much stuff out there now can compete for fill-the-dream-garage status with stuff like:

Yamaha RZ350

Laverda Corsa

The first Evo 883 Sportster (laugh, but I thought that looked like the most elemental, bare-bones pure motorcycle ever)

Honda Nighthawk S

Ducati F1

Kawi GPz 550

Guzzi V65 Lario

Hell, I thought even the first Magna cruisers looked badass.

'80s bikes make me misty.

Don't forget BMW K bikes, Evo Harleys, Ducati Paso, FJ1200Yammies, 900 Ninja's, GPZ750's, Yamaha Ventures, Honda CBX and CB900F, Eddie Lawson Rep KZ1000's....the list goes on.

That really was a fun time to ride. We had Ronnie Rayguns and Fancy Nancy kickin' ass and taking names, I bought my GPZ750 tariff bike for $2000 out the door, talk about Christmas in July....

+1 on the Beemer K75S, FJ1200, and Kawi ELR.

Hey, we had to have Carter before we got Ronnie. We've got Carter II, so here's to 2012.

Still, I don't see bikes ever being that cool again. Too complicated, too liquid-cooled, too emissions-packed, too anime-styled, too Sturgis-poseured, too everything but honest. I think the last straw for me was when Harley dropped the lovely, simple Sportster Roadster for the cartoonish XR1000.
