Well, that's a surprise. I guess that Polaris is going to buck the usual downsizing trend and try to ride it out. Good for them. Sales figures are as I thought.
Polaris is a publicly traded company, though. It remains to be seen how long the stockholders will tolerate the bleeding.

Knuckle-down, tighten yer belt, and for gawds sake DON'T do what every other cash-strapped, under the gun company that later failed (you think GM and Chrysler haven't "failed") has done: Stop advertising and product development. Harley didn't the first time around: see where THEY ended up. The only reason they're "down" right now, is they grew too F'n big to respond rapidly-enough; yet are still too small to weather the economic-downturn doing "business as usual".
If you get my drift. I'll not make predictions as to whether or not Victory/Big-P will pull through. I never thought H-D would actually kill-off Buell, or that I'd detest Chrysler with every fiber of my being (the company and cars I grew up loving like no-other). The entire moto-industry is standing on too-shaky of ground to call "stand" or "fall" right now.
