What are you crying about? It's only 3 times more expensive than every other GPS out there that will do the exact same thing.......much like their motorcycles!

Only 3 times?! I bought my dad a nice Tomtom for $120 for his birthday last week. Hell, they even had one for $90. I wouldn't want anything remotely fancy on a bike, especially if rain is involved.

I live in the most German town in America, I'm of mostly German heritage, I like German food, and my in-laws had a German exchange student last year; yet I'm still not feeling the BMW motorcycle pricing.

The KPPI just doesn't jive with me.

Ha! BMW doesn't fit into the KPPI any more than Harley did.

Yes, but I can get a perfectly reliable somewhat new HD for $5K, maybe less.

I built a mount and modified my $129 TomTom to fit on my bike. I can't hear it, but I don't care. I used an $8 car charger (modified) for power.

I use it for Distance to Go, and the big green turn arrows.

It is also cool to go off on some unknown road; then at a half-tank, ask the PND (Personal Navigation Device, don'tcha know) how to get home.

Cool. Scrape off the TomTom logo, stick a BMW roundel on it and it's worth 900 smackers!
