WHAT? YOUR KIDDING RIGHT? If they are not designed for this, then how come Iv been doing it for so long on so many different makes and models? I mean sure it does shorten the life of the bike but so does racing its self? Do not ignore the R&D implications here. Thats what racing is for to develope stronger parts. Not designed what planet are you people from? This is probly one of the most entertaining features that are built into a motorcycle. The ability to leave the line before ANY car, even on a small bike. Man do you guys have any fun on your bikes or what???

Gotta agree with you 100% on this one, Moke. The greatest fun on motorcycles is shutting the door on some drone in his cage. It's also a skill that a racer can use to his advantage. Is DMG trying to copy NASCAR?

And if they are going to use pace bikes then who cares what they use? An old chopped Honda 450 would do as well as an MV Agusta when it comes down to it. Who ever bought a car or bike because it was used as a pace vehicle? May as well use my GL1100.

Is there any truth to the rumor that the pace speed had to be lowered so the Buell pace bike could keep up? Anyone?
