I don't know about camping, but at least the racers will be up to date on the constant rule changes. "What do you mean this crank is illegal!"

I don't get it.

I thought the whole idea was to get the AMA out of the racing biz.

Maybe they want to itigate the divide between competion and non-copetition by having two magazines. There HAS been some discussion about "I don't care about racing" in the letters section.

Always has been.

Just like the OTHER AMA I belong to.

The AMA keeps me in a constant state of confusion as far as their racing programs go. The new mag. is for registered racing Amats. only. The old mag. will cover the pros. I believe they are still the sanctioning body for most pro racing in the USA. I don't know whats going on with superbike. They handed that over to the nascar guys and washed their hands. But somehow I think they're still involved.
