What other reasons would there be to stop? "“This event proved that electric technology can endure the same level of competition as their gas-powered counterparts,..." Well, actually until you compete on the same course with the same restrictions against gasoline powered bikes you haven't actually proven that. It's good to see this "new" technology in action but this sort of hyperbole serves no one.
