Understanding that you spend many hours dreaming of laws to pass for no good reason, I have come to the conclusion that ALL OF YOU SUCK!

So S22 finally made it. What a shame. On the way back from Phoenix we passed an ORV park near Indio that's been shut down, fenced off and dead. You could still see the hillclimb, and all the neat little trails going every which direction in the desert. Every time we've driven past the place had been full of motorhomes, dune buggies and bikes.

With this new administration I expect off-roading will be an endangered species, and if we don't do something, an extinct species.

They've (and by "they" I mean Politicians in-general, not-necessarily Big O.) already started by banning bikes designed for kids due to "lead content". I don't believe it was an "accident" at all that these bikes fell under the umbrella.

It's funny, but the license plate on my YZ490 had S2 as the beginning alpha/numeric string of characters. Kind of ironic the DMV issued that plate to an off-road only motorcycle, eh wot?

Ah yes, wheelies on the Hollywood freeway, for miles. Miss that. And no street bike EVER beat me in a drag race. Not even the superior in-line 4 cylinder 600cc sport bike, or the even more superior V4 config.

Worked real good in the dirt too, surprisingly enough...

We've pretty much given up on the pols for land access issues here in the east. They all respond to $ and concetrations of votes (cities). Even the few republicans left vote for federal land closure.

All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain.
