Belt drive is cool.

I'll wait for the curb weight numbers.

I haven't seen one in the paint, but pictures make me think it looks a lot like the Harley FXR, especially on the left side.

Although the 80/100 spec is yet to be proven, I'd guess there is more power to be had. First, I'm assuming the exhaust is extremely restrictive. 800cc exhaust pulses are hard to quench!

And, the Bloor engines have had very stout bottom ends, be they Twin or Triple (either axis), or even the occasional fourple configurations.

The guys I've talked to that have seen the (non-running display) bikes tell me the bike looks great!

I'm guessing one is in Sarnali's future! Being it's the Burly-man's Bonnie and all.

I really like the late '90s/early '00s T-Bird Sport. Odd's are the new T-Bird is a bit porkier with a lesser power to weight ratio.

There was one parked on Main as I walked by one day. I looked at it for about 15 seconds. That was long enough to know it isn't anything special.

It wouldn't be a "new model" without those to key features.

I miss the triple T-bird. That was a cool bike. If Triumph did a cool Griso style frame with the 1050 wedged in between the rails that would have been swell. Not that the new bike sucks, but the T-bird Sport was a pretty cool bike back in 1999/2000.

LR,

Unless it was in a display, I don't think you saw a TB-1600 on Main. I was told there are only two non-runners in the country, and they were both at the Triumph Tent at the Raceway. That being said, I don't think the landscape above is very 'British.'

The bikes are supposed to hit the Dealerships in early June.

But, I'm probably wrong...
