If you had your entire ego tied up in that job you got fired from you would either beg your way back in, or come back with a gun and shoot everyone you could find. He's trying to beg back in. He is nothing without me, and he never will be.

jeezus... better open both doors so you can get your head in here....

The 787 is a classic example of stupid ass managment and MBA incompetance. They tried to treat an new design new technology aircraft like a f*cking refrigerator and out source everything, well it came back an bit these fools big time..production delays, incorrect fastners, incomplete or non spec parts and subassemblies you name it. I hope they choke on it..

Now the tune is "next model we'll (ahem) build in house"... to bad they already laid off have the assembly workers and will have to rehire and retrain them on the new design before they can do anything. Saved a ton o' money there eh boys? As usual the skilled Union workforce will bail out management stupidity and deliver a quality product on time and under budget. Too bad they don't teach THAT in University, it'd save everyone a lot of grief.

I know HE wasn't an assembly worker, but do you know if HE was laid off like the post claim?

I think 3 doors might be more appropriate!

LOL I was tryn' to be polite brah...

B-Bar, KayPee is salary so I don't know how a force reduction would be with him. IAM Hourly workers get 60 WARN notices and bumping rights, we in IUOE have a similar set up with caveats for grade of license and position. Salary doesn't have those protections so it's hard to say exactly how it would work for him, they are definately cutting heads so he may be in jepordy

The 787 was built according to the best principles of ISO9000 process management and thereby was done perfectly. Any failures were failures of lower echelon mavericks with unacceptable attitudes. We are looking for those who sabotaged the perfect process and will be taking names! Those who refuse the new paradigm will find their time filled with a new training regimine to instill proper respect for the new paradigm of process management.

We are watching you sarnali2!

I am fully conversant in and in agreement with the the 5S, WCC and ISO9000 protocols and have just received my certification in the ISO14000 Environmental Compliance mandate. Thus ensuring our boilers are in compliance with both PSCCA and EPA limits as low NOx burners. Lastly our fuel transfer process is monitored by HazMat and utilizes the latest in spill protection devices to ensure no diesel fuel is introduced into Salmon Habitat areas through in-plant storm drains.

I just figured all the problems come about when you've got only Ashtray-Engineers and nothing for them to do.

If you remember correctly, not-so-boyish wonder was promoted to cupholder design. As long as there haven't been too many beverage mishaps, he'll probably keep his job.
