Nicky likes a stiff chasis (shut up LR). The frame will work in Nicky's favor. Could he have pulled off wins with the trellis frame? We'll never know, but I think it would have been pretty tough. Honda builds a pretty stout frame and Nicky's style will complement the new 09 carbon frame because of that experience.

Going to be interesting to see what Hayden can do with the GP09.

“Last year we were perhaps a little too confident and overlooked some of the work we needed to do, leading to a few highs and lows at the start of the season that end up costing us dear,”

Why do racers speak in the third person? I think a more realistic dialog by the new team would have been:

Stoner: "Duuude!"
Hayden: "Sweeet!"
Stoner: "Duuude!"
Hayden: "Sweeet!"
Stoner: "Duuude!"
Hayden: "Sweeet!"
Stoner: "Duuude!"
Hayden: "Sweeet!"
Stoner: "Duuude!"
Hayden: "Sweeet!"

Mr. Duke: you are missing some great headlines with this story. Did no one on your staff consider:

"Stoner in Rehab!"
