Can't we just combine MotoGP, WSB, and all the superbike classes from around the world? Maybe then we'll have an actual race series in 2009.

Things are looking grim.

There's more to this than meets the eye. It's not the economy or where their riders placed. These companies have been racing through recessions, losing seasons, etc. for decades, that never stopped them before. I have no idea what the hell is really going on, but I don't believe the "official statements."

Kirk, you're a racing expert, what do you think?

"So you think they don't get a sales ROI from the series? The old "Win on Sunday, Sell on Monday isn't working anymore?"

Well to answer that, when Honda won for years with their V-Five GP bike, which bike was I supposed to buy on Monday?

So you think they don't get a sales ROI from the series? The old "Win on Sunday, Sell on Monday isn't working anymore? Again, I have no idea, but I'm wondering if they're pissed about the format, internal politics, leadership, or something like that.
