I'm trying real hard to adhere to a New Year's resolution to be nice to idiots.

I'm the sophisticated dude on the right. The two others are my friends, still in a reasonably sober state as we seem to be able to sit on the sofa successfully. In the back our three blue Kawi H2s. Real sport bikes from the era when no-one was too bothered whether the bike had some handling or brakes.

Oh, 'zat all. I was just wonderin', as the bald guy on the right kinda has his head thrown-back and really seems to be "gettin' into the mix".

Its not a lawn chair, its a proper sofa. We are talking about civilized Europeans here remember.

The sofa is still in a good nick apart from cigarette burns, cuts, red wine marks, creaky joints and some occasional vomit stains in the back. Just like the owner.

The Kawi is complete apart from the carbs that have disappeared after umpteenth move.

A friend of mine had one of them H2s back in the 70s. He'd had it ported and installed expansion chambers. That thing made a godawful lot of horsepower in the most unpleasant manner possible. Why the flexy frame didn't tie itself in knots is a mystery. Still, in a straight line nothing else could touch it. I can't imagine anyone really wanting to ride one of those things that didn't have to.

Oh yeah. It had a problem with motor mounts breaking. Did yours do the same thing?

So, somewhere in the world, three half-nude, middle-aged white dudes are riding around on matching blue motorcycles. Did you move to the Keys?
