Default Why does it cut out on me at 85mph??

I have a 1996 suzuki GSXr 750 that keeps cutting out on me at 85mph, I lose the throttle until it slows down to about 70mph then it powers back up until I hit 85, then cuts back out. Anybody have any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting?
Thanks for the help

I wouldnt think its clogged jets, once your on the mainjet (being the biggest size hole) it should good all the way to top speed.

Does anything happen to the lights when it cuts out? Do you notice any other things happening? Do you ride it everyday? When did it start happening? A bit more discription.

It's a speed governor that the saftey nazis have been sneaking around in black helicopters installing on Gixxers all across the great land of ours. You don't park it outside at night do you? That's when they strike. Next you'll look down and be riding a GS450 before you know what happened. Look, you fools. You're in danger. Can't you see? They're after you. They're after all of us. Our wives, our children, everyone. They're here already. YOU'RE NEXT!

What modifications have you done to the bike?

Gosh!

I don't think that's ever happened before. During this past week, at least.
