Brake problem!
We are working on son's bike 2005 Yahama TTR 125 with front disc brakes. We have replaced the brake master cyclinder, brake caliper, pads.Problem is when we bleed the brakes were vacumn bleeding system,I can get fluid out the bleeder screwbut the caliper pistons and pads won't push out against the brake rotor!

Simple, don't use the vacuum bleeder. Here's the lowdown:

#1: Fill the master cylinder with DOT4 phluid.
#2: Have your son pump the front brake until it starts to pressure the system.
#3: Un-screw the bleeder on the caliper and let the air out, screw it back in real quick when it stops air and starts squirting brake fluid.
#4: Do that four or five times until the lever feels "right" and the front brake works.

Just like you did on a '55 DeSoto. Not much has changed...

Is the cover off the master cylinder when you're trying to bleed them? If not you'll never overcome the vacuum.

I guess he could hook up a fluroscope and a 3000 lb. vacuum pump, along with all the fittings and hoses in the western hemispehre, but please tell me, when did bleeding brakes get so complicated? I was bleeding brakes on a '51 Silver Chieftan when I was in the 6th grade. Made sense to me back then...
