Suzuki spent a great deal of time and effort balancing intake and exhaust flow to get the optimum horespower, torque, noise and emissions control and ridability out of that engine.

You just spent a good chunk of change to drop a turd in the punchbowl......


Craigslist the Akro & go back to stock....your bike will thank you

Don't bother with sliders. Just take the fairing off. Fairings don't matter at any sort of sane survivable speed on public roads. Put the fairing back on when you sell it.

Don't alter the tail. Those 'spiffy' tails don't put out enough light and frankly I don't understand why the USDOT approves them. Those turn signal eliminators that use the two sides of the taillight are especially dangerous. Only fools use them.

WPI (Wallet Performance Index), my man!

The bike runs better 'cause your wallet weighs less!

My favorite example: Single-fire ignition systems for Harley's. And yes, I had a Spyke on my FXR. It was LOADS faster!

Well, the KPPI is already at 100, an Akro surely puts it higher than that...........
