i have a 95 speed triple and the starter clunks what are my best options

Options are:
Buy a manual, determine the problem and fix it,

Take it to a Dealer (or other competent mechanic), or

Take it to a large body of water, and soak it in warm salt water for four hours. Rinse, repeat.

TO PETITION MANUFACTURERS TO BRING BACK THE KICKSTARTER! BOYCOT BIKES THAT DON'T HAVE ONE!

Tried to make the first day of SCTA fun at El Mirage yesterday, but the kids down with mono, so we had to stick around Burbank in sweltering 100+ heat. I would much rather swealter in 120+ degree heat if it's mixed with nitro fumes. And lots of dust.
