Default Steering Damper for a '88 ZX-10 Ninja?

Anyone ever heard of a steering damper that'll fit my old '88 ZX-10? I called Scott's a while back. and they didn't have anything.

Just one of those "piston type" that look like a miniature screendoor-closer, basically a "Universal Fit" - drill and tap a few brackets to the frame and upper triple.

I don't know where to find a pic, I've got one layin' about somewhere, originally intended for a HawkGT (but they don't need 'em - so I don't have one on 'em).
