Default Leaking gas

Hello again. In case anyone forgot, I have a 94 honda nighthawk 250 and i just recently cleaned the carb...and when i put the bike back together i turned the gas on and it is leaking from the hose beside the crankcase breather tube...anybody know why...i checked for incorrectly connected hoses..not sure if that was it tho. I tried a few different places.

Sticking float.

You missed a dirt-particle, or assembled it incorrectly.

You might want to make-certain you didn't fill the cylinders and crankcase full of fuel before you start it again. If your oil-level is over-full and/or smells like gas, change it. Don't crank the engine without removing the plugs and flipping the kill-switch to "OFF" (after making certain you can't otherwise ignite or blow the fuel-mixture all over you or your garage wall that will certainly spray from the plug-holes when you thumb the starter).

Default Rodent infestation again...

...don't let them fool you about stuck floats, needle valves, etc. It's those dang rodents!

Get some sticky traps, decon, raid, etc. And whatever you do DON'T WORK ON THE CARB AGAIN!

You'll thank me later...
A gun is a tool, Marian; no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that.
