Match up the red marks on the stator, Make sure you have the intake valve open on no,2. line up the flybob. Use kawasaki timing chain masterlink, buy masterlink riveting tool. Purchase way too much beer for working on a bike in this hot weather. Was that intake valve open? or exhaust...? lose the 13mm open end, you can't find it. but, you will find 5 12mm open-ends though...and next time you have to use a 12mm, you won't fine one anywhere. All day. It's now 3pm and it's gotta be, what ,a hundred and five degrees in the shade? Down a few more Olys. Step on the new head gasket by mistake and bend it in half. But, squished down in a vice, it looks fine now. Like new. It's now 7 pm, and the old lady is calling you to stop, and come in the house. That's good for three more hours, at least. Around 11pm, 8 or 9 beers later, when placing teensy tiny cam chain masterlink in chain, you loose your grip, and drop the masterlink into the lower end. Plink. Sweat is burning your eyes now, and you want to go inside, lay down...guess you should have BOUGHT THE MANUAL!?!?!?

I'll bet he forgot to mention that he needed the bike to get to his new job the next day.
