I just bought a 2000 VL1500 Intruder and I want to increase the bikes fuel capacity beyond 15 liters. 25 Liters would be nice.
Looking for some feedback...a different in-front (actual)tank for example teamed with the under-the-seat tank? Thanks... |

My ignorance of the bike was showing there. I just read about the front airbox and carburetion system all tied up in that tank-like assemble forward of the seat. The learning curve is ongoing.

Yike! For the $500 bucks they want for those puppies, I'd make the extra gas stops.
