i have a 88cbr 400 nc23.when i start it and drive it goes for bout 30mins then cuts out wont start then for 10min or so.the regulator give up last week so i wired up 1 of a 250 bandit tat i had.wud tis be gettin too hot??

hi there.
i had the same problem.it gets sovled easily. the regulator has 5 wires.the three yellow ones go to the engine. they are ok.your problem is the other two wich go to the battery. now.probably because your bike is old the wires have gotten oxidated. what you have to do is place some new cables allong with the old ones to connect with the battery. hope that helps! |
