There are many, many different types of ****roaches, and every variety has its own unique set of characteristics and habits. It’s definitely possible that your motorcycle is inhabited by a number of ****roach species, so you’ll need to use a powerful pest control method to battle all the different ****roaches that want to share your bike.

In general, ****roaches are an incredibly hardy group of insects, which is why it’s so hard to kill them. They’ve evolved over millions of years to become resistant to as many threats as possible, and because they reproduce extremely quickly, different species can sometimes develop resistance to specific pesticides.

Most types of ****roaches can survive a month without water and two to three months without food, which makes it difficult to get rid of the bugs simply by depriving them of nourishment.

The simplest and most effective way to remove roaches from your motorcycle is to submerge it in salt-water for 36 to 48 hours. The battery and fluids should be removed from the motorcycle prior to submerging; leave all covers and access ports open so the roaches can escape. The salt water will not kill all species of roaches, however, they will leave the motorcycle after 8-12 hours underwater.

Dry the motorcycle thoroughly before refilling gas, oil, brake and clutch hydraulics, and radiator fluid. Re-install the battery, and test all lights and switches before riding.
