Hi there, I need some help with my Honda CT125 1987 engine.
Firstly, the engine after a short ride gets so hot that you cant leave you hand on it anywhere for more than a couple of seconds and secondly it smokes quite badly when going up hills. I have included some pics of the piston (a bit of wear) and also the build up of carbon (I cleaned the carbon off only a few months ago and I dont use it very much). If you have any ideas please let me know! ![]() The smoke is a white-gray colour sometimes with a bit of blue.Attachment 1810 Attachment 1811 |

White smoke usually means valves, and since oil burns hotter than gasoline you will have to do a top end on that 125. Lots of hop up parts for you bike btw that can make it a real screamer.
