Default Honda Magna loses electrical power and dies

It starts, I hop on and ride. It starts to sputter and the blinkers stop working. I get it home and it dies completely and has almost no electrical power at all. Then I hook it up to a battery charger with a built in volt meter. It says the battery, which is only 10 days old is fully charged. I then hit the ignition and it clicks like the solenoid is working but it won't start. It also says it loses almost no juice when the ignition is pressed. But still it won't start. So I charge for 30 mins and it starts right up and lasts the rest of the day. Then the next day i start it, hop on it ride away, it dies and needs charged again. It has been happening for about 10 days. It happened a couple of times and I then bought a new battery. It was fine til today and it happened all over again. Any suggestions on what it could be?
It is a 85' Honda Magna v45

It's almost 30 years old. Check your fuse box and wiring harness for any loose or dirty connections.
