I bought this bike last fall for my son and from day one bike started and ran great.Well this spring he completes his riders course gets his license and started riding maybe once a week or so and still bike was running great. Well the first problem started the bike it ran for a few minutes but the fast idle was different it wouldnt come up over 1000 and then it died like it ran out of gas and would not start back it would hit a little like it wanted to. Well first thought something stoped up. Took the tank off and took the fuel pump out checked the pump and screen well there was a little trash on screen and in tank nothing severe though i thought well maybe what trash was there got pulled to the screen and restricted fuel flow but at best this was a long shot i just didnt think that was it. I put it back together went for a ride and it seemed fine accept it died once rolling to a stop and started right back up well thought it was fixed untill i started it cold again and same thing ran for a minute and died like it ran out of gas. I bearly got it to start back up like it wasnt getting fuel played with choke and throtle and got it warmed up but at this point it wouldnt idle so we took for a ride 50 miles or so and accept not wanting to idle sometimes it did fine after it was warm. Now to my question I live in east Tennessee were its just now getting very hot and humid and on these two days it was mid afternoon 90 degrees and very humid well this bike was purchased new in New York where its cooler and less humid could this be my problem and what can i do

Check the fuel tank vent hole. It's usually in the gas cap.
