Default Broken Stator?

Hi would it mean that my stator is fried if my bike wont keep running when I take out the battery?

I had to jump start my bike from a donor battery,it was running fine but when I disconnected the donor battery (even when bike was warm/revving) and left my flat battery connected, the bike died.

Many bikes won't run without a battery. There are some that will, but with EFI, fuel pumps, etc.; a battery is required to complete the circuits as well as provide storage. BTW: you can damage some charging systems by running with an open circuit (aka: no battery).

You are in luck. The site The GSResources has more info on early Suzukis than you can shake a stick at. BTW those bikes had a lot of stator problems.
