Ok, it has taken a few days, but in my defense, I work 7 days a week. Last Thursday, I took the PC800 for a spin, and it starved out of fuel after two miles on the freeway. This morning I got it on the lift and looked at fuel delivery issues and lo and behold, I found a good size hole in the pet**** diapragm. Apparently, low engine speeds would open it just fine, but higher vacuum would cause it to flutter and eventually shut, causing the carbs to run out of fuel. A trip to the auto parts store for a fuel tee at $2.48 and the problem is permanently fixed, plus plugging the vacuum line from the rear carb. And here's another thing, you guys really do hijack threads!!!

Oh as if!!!.....you were talking about fuel starvation and Airsquawk and Jethro mentioned building a deck with some wood, nails and a boot heel. What you don't know is that Airsquawks neighbor over there on the other street HAD a PC800 and rode it past airsqawks house while he was sitting on the VERY SAME DECK RIGHT THERE!!!!!! it's obviously related, no thread hi-jacking here!
