Default honda vfr 750 clutch problem

can anyone help problem started when i took bike out of garage having been stored over winter for 3 months clutch lever very soft not engaging tried bleeding but still not working could plates be stuck

My guess is the master or slave cylinder seals. My 1985 Honda CB700SC had the seals go at about 20,000 miles. When cold, there would be tension/pressure but as the bike warmed up... nothin'.

Sure there's no air in the system?

I had a similar problem with Goldwing brakes. You probably need a new o-ring in the slave cylinder and a new piston in the master cylinder. These are fairly cheap easy jobs.
