I would think the V-Max would be an exception here, at least it has a 4 cyl racing motor, I think also the Kawi Eliminator (I may be wrong here) had a higher output mill then these V-twin (IwishIwerea) race bikes.
I personally don't care to run time trials pull wheelies or see how far I can lean, but if I got that itch, I wouldn't be doing it on a 600lb chrome bike with a big headlight, I'd opt for a plastic wrapped bike intended for that purpose. Just my $.02, but I wouldn't put my chevy avalanche on a drag strip either, but some would. Different strokes........

Maybe get one off that Harley Destroyer. You can use the wheelie bar too.

"I would think the V-Max would be an exception here, ..."

I had a V-Max for 2 years, and while it does have a wonderful motor, it is easily the crappiest handling stock motorcycle I have ever ridden. A V-Rod will ride circles around that thing, and the Rod isn't known as a stellar handler itself, but it's MILES ahead of the original Max.

The Vmax didn't handle, it was only made to do one thing.

Yeah, but it did it all night long!

I've never ridden one, but always liked them in lieu of a full faranged sportbikes and the owners I've met love them to death. They aint too cheap either, everytime I see a v-max for sale I think it's a steep price.

"Full faranged sportbike." I like that. My buddy's sportbike got fully "faranged" last week. Teach him to loan it to a friend.
