Uh, thanks, I think. It worked out for me. I rode it through last year, and got more than I put into it. Older 600's aren't worth much around here. I had always wanted one in THAT paint scheme. Now, my knees can't take riding one for very long.

Well dam it! I havent found any of the before pic's of the kids bike yet but it was trashed, I even had to try and repair a bend in the frame, but for a hundred buck's, a few cans of spray paint, and new body work and tank here she is. Total spent $230.00, 3 days of Labor.
![]() Also removed engine, painted frame, straighten badly bent forks, and painted them, replaced all body panels and tank, cleaned and set carb up, bent frame back.

Just started this after building a workshop to accomodate. Currently stripping the bike down, not far to go now.
This was a Japanese import to the UK and is an F, but has the NEAS system fitted with other oddities... a UK dealer has suggested that it is a Limited Edition or R. It has only done 43k km but the sprockets are well worn and the compression was extremely low. Ex race bike ? Not everything adds up and there have been a lot of bodges too.
