IT SUICIDE MAN! Really, seems like a bad idea for this particular bike. Find a 80 Yamaha XS650- bob the thing and then do the suicide shifter and maybe I can buy it, but a GS750?! That bike (the GS) was the beginning of the modern superbike. It'd be worth more money to restore it to it's glory. But good luck to ya! Hope it works out.

Somebody already bought up all the cheap XS650s, around here, anyway. Easier to find a cheap GS750.

It was the beginning of the modern superbike, but I myself am a 6'9, pushing 300 lb guy, so its power isn't quite as impressive when its trying to haul my ass around. lol

As for restoring it? I have a spare foot shifter, so if this goes to hell, I can always revert it, I'm sort of just looking for an experiment.

Ha Ha! Yeah its something. lol but I figured I'd rather have a bike a bit too small then not have one at all.
