Default type of Gasoline

could anyone tell me which type of gasoline do i have to use for my 2006 Kawasaki Ninja 500R
95-96 Octane,98 Octane or somthing else??
just bought it form USA ( I live at Overseas)

They use the RON+MON/2 method of Octane rating in the States, which is slightly lower than elsewhere. On The Wife's, I never used over 87 ("Standard Grade") when-available. Probably the "95" would be sufficient.

It's a 500cc twin that was designed right after the Earths crust cooled. You can run 87 octane in it with no issues what so ever. But if you must, get the premium stuff that costs 20 cents more a gallon and doen't make all that much difference on a stock motor.

Go with the petroleum-based stuff. The corn fuel sucks.

It's a pretty low-tech motor. Just remember that the 93/95 octane fuel cost more, burns faster and may not help you in the average miles per gallon arena.

The "93 Octane" in his location is roughly-equivalent to "87 Octane" here, IIRC.
