Everybody loves oil threads, they just won't admit it. Sort of like that other thing nobody admits to. Anyway, I found this great bargain on the Suzuki website. It's listed for use in a Hayabusa! I'm going to buy a case before the price goes up:

Great deal!

I just got the oil changed on my Benz. 9 Quarts! of synthetic oil ain't exactly cheap these days.

$185 oil and filter change. Not at the M-B dealer of course.

You can get 5 quarts or Mobil1 for 28 bucks. You been had!

I used to own a Benz. $100 is added to the price of everything as soon as they see you drive up.

Well I guess he wanted to make a little dough putting the thing on the lift. I can't exactly crawl under a car that's 2 inches off the ground.

The M-B dealer would have relieved me of probably $400 for the same service but they throw in a fancy lobby and a car wash.

I put Royal Purple Max-Cycle in my bikes and that stuff is roughly $10 per quart .. somewhat expensive, but at 4.5 quarts per bike that still only adds up to $45 .. add $12 for the oil filter and that comes out to $57. Equivalent to one quart of Hayabusa oil

Well if it works in the two cycle Hayabusa I'm sure it will work fine in your two cycle V-Strom Ken. Too bad it's synthetic based instead of bean oil..........

I love the smell of bean oil in the morning....smells like ..........Moto-Cross!

Why would 2-cycle oil be listed for a Hayabusa? Doesn't make much sense at any price.

Yeah, and $58/quart? WTF?

I've been using Castrol 2 stroke oil I get at Wally World for $3/quart.

I handle the bean smell in the morning personally.

Why they list 2 stroke oil at any price as an accessory for a Busa is beyond me, but go look, it's right there on the Suzook website. It's been a while since I bought 2 stroke oil, but if that's the going price I may be ditching the RD350 for something more affordable. Like a Mercedes Benz.
